I'm about to end an era in my life, and I think that I need to punctuate that with a new journal. I'll leave this one up, but I won't be posting the new URL. If I want to friend you, I will.

I've got several things I need to do today, and I think one of them is going to be put off until tomorrow, or maybe even Tuesday.
I'd planned on going with Dad to Monte Sano today to find out about the availability of cabins, but I don't think that I'm going to have time. I have to finish up my lab report for bio and get to work on yet another map for my crazy project. I'm really pleased with how it's coming together so far; admittedly, due to lacking a map at one point in time and then just.. going ahead to sketch another one, I'm a little off balance with the actual shape of the continents, but it's all right. ^^; You can tell where everything is supposed to be.
I didn't get quite as much written last night as I'd wanted to, but I think I wrote somewhere between 400 and 500 words. I've been consistently getting down at least 700 for the past two nights, but Mason and Thoreau don't really have riveting conversations. n.n; In any case, that's where I am now.
I've also gone and changed my plot synopsis somewhat. I'd planned on having The Accident occur earlier in the book, and looking at where I am now, I don't think that's very likely. So I'm going to wait until later in the story line, and then institute it. I think that'll work out better.
And Carmen gets lots of hugs for volunteering to illustrate a few characters for me, free of charge. ^^; I'll buy you a BMW or something when I'm rich.
I'm going to go watch LotR stuff now and write. <3~

I'm kicking people off my friends list. If you get kicked off, it's probably because you annoy me or something. I'm not going to ask you to comment if you want to stay; if we haven't talked in over a month, don't see each other on a regular basis, don't have much in common, interact badly when we do meet, and really just don't like each other anyway, then there's no reason for you to stick around.

Just a note for the future:
Lizzi is thinking about getting a new LJ. Because although this one is wonderful and splendiforous and all of that lovely stuff.. yeah. A new one may be obtained soon, which won't be a bad thing. Perhaps.
So. There's some food for thought. If I do decide to change the screen name, I'll inform everyone of it, not just the people on my friends' list.

I probably won't update this thing until Sunday, as I have APUSH night school tomorrow night, drill/color guard practice Thursday night, and we leave for the competition in Auburn on Friday morning. When I get back, I'll discuss several things:

C) Why I fucking hate Col. but can't quit ROTC.

This is the first time I've been in the computer lab for a while. David and Arielle are (supposedly) teaching us all about Adobe. We're really just sitting here talking about Adobe and not really doing anything.
I'm very glad that the graduation exams are going on--that means I get like, an additional hour in my first/second period class to do my homework. <3 That and none of the other teachers assign much homework or anything. I did have a shit load of French vocab due today that I'd forgotten about; thank you so much, Tyler, for letting me just blatantly copy down all of your hard work in Algebra II. I finished it earlier this period. x.x;; God, that's an insane amount of vocabulary.. I think I'm ready for the test, though.
Ew. :/ That means we have third lunch today. ;_; Lizzi is hungry now..
I don't think I'll be online tonight. >>; I've got drill this afternoon, then a book to read (for a book report due Friday that Mrs. McDowell JUST told us about x.x), then mandatory reading for an APUSH test, then.. um.. x.o oh yeah, two Algebra assignments I've completely forgotten about. I'm not worried about them, though.

So I got my paper finished at a fairly decent hour last night. Erm.. well, decent for me. Last year while writing Stephens' paper, I was up until 6 a.m. This time I finished by 12:30, which was pretty damn good timing for me. However, my printer decided not to work, so I had to e-mail the document and the works cited page to Mrs. McDowell. I have all my sources ready 'n the like.. just.. meh. x.o I can't exactly mail those to her too, and I didn't have time to go by the school, because I was sick today. God, I hate being sick.
But yeah. The paper is done, and after rereading it, I'm actually not as disappointed with it as I was last night. It actually.. works, I guess. Oh well. I'm just glad it's over with and I don't have to worry about it anymore.
Blah. I feel tired now. x.x
